HMR CCG has responsibility for improving the quality of the boroughs GP services. The Primary Care Quality Standards were developed during 2014/15 with the purpose of improving quality and creating a minimum consistent level of quality across all HMR.

All 37 GP Practices have signed up to deliver the Primary Care Quality Standards which are split in to three different levels (1, 2 and 3), practices are assessed twice yearly to determine which level they are at and have the opportunity to and are encouraged to strive to achieve higher levels of standards within each year.

The Standards will be reviewed periodically to ensure they are up to date with latest clinical guidance and to ensure continuous quality improvement.
