The winter issue of Livin' It is available to pick up now from locations throughout the borough.
Livin' It is NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG’s) quarterly newsletter, which updates people about local healthcare services and offers insight into the CCG’s decision-making role.
The winter issue has useful advice on how to stay well this winter, plus news of a new pain management service and the CCG’s work with Rochdale Council to stub out smoking.
This edition also has information about a project to test new technologies and help patients manage their own healthcare.
Dr Chris Duffy, local GP and HMR CCG Chair, said: “Engaging with local people about the kinds of healthcare services they want to see in the borough is an important part of our work, and this newsletter is a key part of this.
“It’s a great way for us to feed back to residents of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale about what we are doing and help them to understand our organisation’s work.”
Copies of Livin' it are available to pick up from your local GP practice, dental practice, library, pharmacy, children’s centre and other outlets.
