NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group (HMR CCG) is holding its next Governing Body meeting on Friday 18 November, and local people are invited to attend.
Held at Number One Riverside 10.30am-12.30pm, the CCG Governing Body meeting is where official CCG business is discussed and decisions are made about everything from policies to which health services will be commissioned.
Public questions are welcome and can either be submitted in advance, through the online form on the CCG’s website (http://www.hmr.nhs.uk/index.php/get-in-touch/contact-us) or asked during the open questions slot at the beginning of each meeting. We would ask people who have questions to ask at the meeting to arrive half an hour before the meeting, at 10.00am, so we are able to accurately capture the question as well as contact details to ensure a full response is provided. Our engagement lead will be available to discuss any other queries.
Please report to reception on arrival at Number One Riverside. It is requested that anyone submitting questions, in advance of the Governing Body meeting, does so at least 24 hours before the meeting commences. This will allow sufficient time for the question to be picked up and processed, before the meeting takes place.
The next meeting takes place as follows:
Date: Friday 18 November
Venue: Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale, OL16 1XU
At this meeting, attendees can expect to hear updates on our Test Bed project, Clinical Portfolios, CCG locality reports and member feedback covering Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.
Dr Chris Duffy, HMR CCG Chair and local GP said: “We are planning health services for the residents of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale and we have a responsibility to make sure that what we do and how decisions are made is accessible to local people. We are encouraging people to attend our meetings and find out more about our organisation and projects. We regularly welcome several member of the public to our meetings, but if you are unable to attend, why not follow our Twitter feed where we tweet live from the meeting giving you an overview of items being discussed and decisions made, follow us @NHSHMR”.
The agenda and papers for the meeting will be available on the ‘About us’ section of our website, www.hmr.nhs.uk in advance of the meeting.
