The Autumn issue of Livin it is now available to pick up throughout Rochdale borough. Livin it is Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG’s) quarterly newsletter which updates local people about healthcare services locally and provides an understanding into the decision-making role of the CCG.
This Autumn issue includes an update on our NHS Test bed long term conditions programme (one of only 7 national Test Beds), how we are working with Greater Manchester Police and other local health services to help people living with Mental Health problems and more information on this year’s HMR STAR awards and winners.
This edition also includes an illustration about the costs that are picked up by the NHS for prescribing medicines for treating minor ailments and conditions, as well as an article about the CCG being recently rated ‘good’ by NHS England and Middleton Health Centre receiving an ‘outstanding’ rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Dr Chris Duffy, local GP and HMR CCG Chair said: “engaging with local people is key to the work that we do and this newsletter is a way in which the CCG can feedback on how we are trying to continue improving healthcare for the people of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale.”
