NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale is at the heart of local health, meaning we are responsible for the health services you use in the local community every day. This includes doctors, dentists, health centres and clinics, as well as more specialised services like physiotherapy, occupational therapy and podiatry. Not all of these services are directly employed by us; often we buy their services using the £330 million the government gives us every year.  Full details about our plans, strategy, policies and procedures can be found in the resource centre.

Going for Gold Stars

Each year we recognise our outstanding achievers and long serving members of staff at our annual Going for Gold Awards.  We also operate a bi-monthly award scheme called Going for Gold Stars, which recognises staff who go the extra mile.
